Sorry for the lack of posts lately, those past two weeks were crazy and I had almost zero time to sit down and blog peacefully. Finally, finally, weekend's here and I have some spare time to write!
I'm still working on the Makeup Geek haul post, which is taking way longer than I anticipated (I took a bunch of pictures and made a lot of swatches and comparisons) - so, since it's not ready yet, today I'm posting this graphic makeup look I did no later than 10 days ago. It's inspired, once again, by one of my favourite IG artist's work: Lucinda212.

It's inspired, once again, by one of my favourite IG artist's work: Lucinda212.
Lucinda's version (see picture above) featured all silver shades with tons of glitters, rhinestones and even teeny tiny stars. I wanted to reproduce it by using Klimt - yeah, once again and nope, I'm not tired of it yet - meaning my version would be gold, instead of silver.
I don't have any glitters nor stars, just an handful of Swarovski crystals - but Klimt is so special and sparkly that fills this gap.
First of all, I applied Morning Glory (cream eyeshadow) all over the lid, both to prime it but also to even it out (and, later, to clean the edges).
I started off with Klimt, and I drew all the lines following Lucinda's design. Must say, I had no problems with the golden parts: Klimt has such a teeny tiny brush that allows to trace the smallest and more precise lines with incredible ease. The formula, on the other hand, is not too dense nor too liquid - which also helps a lot.
Ironically, I had way more troubles with the black parts XD My eyeliner brush is very thin but not as Klimt's - plus I made my eyeliner myself, mixing a black pigment with some drops of Fix + and its consistency always varies. That day it turned out a little too dense, which didn't help. Anyway, with quite some patience and, like, double of the time required for the gold parts, I managed to draw also the black lines.

The worst was over. I cleaned some of the edges with Morning Glory (I usually don't need this step, but this look has a lot of edges XD) and then I moved on to the final touches.
I applied Danae all over the lower lid - I chose this shade because is goldish and filled with tons of glitters. I applied Nocturne on the lower lashline, then the usual black eyepencil on the waterline.
After that, I added false lashes, applied mascara, filled in and defined my brows.
Lastly, I applied randomly some Swarovski crystals on the inner part of the eye - while I placed three of them precisely between the black lines (as I didn't have enough space under the brow).

And that's it! I know it looks really complicated - but with the right eyeliners, it's absolutely doable. I had so much fun recreating it, adding my own touches and personal style to it!
I wish I could show you how it looked in real life: so. flipping. sparkly *____* Honestly, I don't think it needed glitter at all, with Klimt being, well... Klimt XD
